Victoria Ford - Principal DMPK Scientist
Victoria started her career in DMPK as a placement student at Evotec during her biology degree over 15 years ago.
After graduating from the University of Bath, Victoria returned to Evotec where she worked as an in vitro lab scientist screening compounds for client projects alongside programming automated liquid handling systems and data processing templates.
In 2015, Victoria joined XenoGesis where her role involved a mixture of routine and bespoke lab work, DMPK project support and line management. When XenoGesis was acquired by Sygnature Discovery in 2020, Victoria joined the DMPK team as Principal Scientist.
Victoria moved to Charnwood Discovery in 2022 and helped to set up their DMPK department. There she led the validation of in vitro DMPK screening assays alongside continuing to provide DMPK project support.
As Principal Scientist at Drug Discovery Solutions, Victoria supports client projects to understand the DMPK of their molecules and progress the most promising compounds. She brings hands-on experience of DMPK assays and their design to ensure they are providing the most relevant data. Victoria has particular interest in the use of mathematical models in DMPK.
